The inline article viewer bridges the gap between your Content Hub and articles to deliver a faster, more consistent reading experience across all platforms.

Our new responsive lightbox feature creates engaging image galleries for your article photos, fractional ads, and replica pages. Readers can click or swipe through the gallery, zoom in, or view images in full-screen mode.

Article category buttons introduce new reader journey options, allowing exploration of content beyond the context of a single issue.

The article carousel displays content from the current issue or category, depending on the reader’s journey. Showcasing additional and relevant content can increase reader engagement, especially on mobile devices where the table of contents is off-screen.

Screen Optimization

You’ll notice more headroom when scrolling, as the navbar is tucked out of the way on mobile devices (it reappears when you scroll back up). We’ve also introduced a more efficient, one-click search overlay.

Enhanced Typography

We’ve applied subtle typographical changes across the board to improve the visual quality of your content, including pull quotes, drop-caps, captions, and default fonts.

Full-width Images

Images enhance storytelling and increase engagement, so we’ve improved how they appear in your articles. Any image that is large enough will automatically get the “hero image” treatment to create more of a focal point.

Deep Linking

We’ve improved the URL structure of articles to be as user-friendly as possible. This makes your content more easily sharable and optimizes the reader journey.

Page Gallery Placement

You can now position the page thumbnail gallery anywhere within your article. The default position will now be after the second paragraph as opposed to the end of each article.

Article List Covers

By adding a clickable cover to the top of an issue article list, readers have a better sense of navigation.
