March – Improved Search, Ad Serving and Accessibility

Uur New Web Reader has undergone some exciting changes! A complete list of updates are outlined below:

Improved Search 

We have added additional search functionality. In reading view and page view, search will display two options: an easy to use search within the issue, and an option for a more in-depth search of all issues.    

The “Search All Issues” option will take the reader to a more advanced search feature within the library. This will include the ability to search specific issues, all issues, any terms, all terms or exact match. Readers will also be able to sort the results by most recent or closest match.

We also now offer analytics tracking for search terms used. If you are interested in learning more, just reach out to your Publishing Support Team for assistance.

Ad serving 

Third party ad serving is now available in the Page view. Coming soon, it will also be available in the reading view. We will send out information on these new ad slots as we roll them out!


We are currently taking part in a web accessibility audit. This is the first step towards creating a more accessible platform for all. Our goal is to become AA WCAG certified (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). The process will include an audit, an action plan to address areas of deficit and training for developers to ensure WCAG compliance is considered in all future development.  

Did you know?

Dashboard access can be limited? No two publisher teams are the same and we have tried to create a flexible dashboard to accommodate your varying needs. You can provide members of your team with limited dashboard access for specific areas, such as uploading files or accessing analytics. If you would like to do so, just reach out to your publishing support team. We are there to assist you!
